Mammatus at Sunset

Following a thunderstorm, ice crystals which boiled up into the stratosphere during the storm fall earthward through layers of drier air, producing these seemingly upside-down clouds. Light from the setting sun paints them bright orange, while the lower cloud fragments are still lit by blue sky.
